The subject of, when and how to use Tampons? is a question alot of young teenage girls want to know about. Ready Girls nurse has given some sound advice below.
The Ready Girls Nurse says:
Tampons soak up menstrual blood, just as pads do, but work from inside your vagina. Many girls start by using pads but might want to use tampons, especially when swimming or taking part in sports.
Most girls can use tampons from the time they start having periods but this is an individual decision. Even though your body is ready for tampons you might not be. You must be comfortable with your own body and be able to put them in and take them out safely. Tampons are easy to use and instructions come with all packages, read them carefully.
Just because your friends may use them doesn’t mean you have to. You need to make your own decision as to when or if you are going to use tampons.
Remember, using tampons doesn’t mean you’re more grown-up, just as using pads doesn’t make you immature.
